At the Animal Medical Center, serving and helping the local community has been is an important value that we strive to uphold.

Humane Society for Greater Nashua (HSFN)

At the Animal Hospital of Nashua, we are not only veterinary professionals but also pet owners, pet lovers, and pet fanatics. We serve as an advocate for the Humane Society for Greater Nashua and continue to offer our support to help the shelter. HSFN is a private non-profit organization dedicated to serving the animals and people of the Greater Nashua community since 1900. The society operates a full-service shelter in Nashua, New Hampshire. We accept cash donations for HSFN at our reception desk by utilizing their pet donation “piggy banks.” Animals come to HSFN under many circumstances; allergies, moving, incompatibility with another pet, stray, owner illness; every situation you can imagine. If you are looking to add a new pet member to your family, please consider adoption to give an innocent animal a second chance at a loving home. Donations can be made by visiting the HSFN website.

Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire

We continue to partner with the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire (ARL) to sponsor frequent fund-raising events including the Annual Pet Step held in the fall. Our doctors and staff volunteer for the ARL providing care and some surgical services to animals rescued from difficult situations. The ARL was founded in June 1902 in Manchester, NH by a group of concerned citizens. The ARL is located on Route 101 in Bedford. Donations can be made by visiting the ARL website.

Newspaper Articles

We support the Nashua Telegraph and the Hollis Times by contributing monthly articles on pet care topics and trends. Our doctors write monthly for the “Your Pet” column of the Nashua Telegraph. “Your Pet” is published on the second Monday of each month. If you don’t receive the subscription to your home, you can always check out our monthly column online! Our doctors also rotate writing monthly articles for the Hollis Times, “For Pets Sake.” PDF versions of past articles will be made available on our website, please check back soon for an update.

Holiday Helpfulness

During the Christmas season we try to give back to the community by spreading holiday cheer. During the month of December we select a local pet shelter or soup kitchen to support. The past few seasons we have also served as a drop off location for Toys-for-Tots, turnout has been very successful!
