Classes and Events

At AMC we value education and provide a series of programs not only for our staff and our clients but also for the community and other veterinary practices.

  • Staff - Continuing Education (CE) programs are ongoing at our facility as we strive to educate or staff on the latest technology and medical advances. Our board-certified doctors provide training and mentoring on a regular basis, enhancing the skills of our doctors and technicians.
  • Clients – Monthly seminars are presented by Michelle Posage, our Director of Behavior Services. The seminars are complimentary programs and cover a wide range of topics involving domestic animals and their families. Dr. Posage has also developed a Puppy Kindergarten, a seven-week program for puppies where obedience and socialization are taught in a fun and positive environment.
  • Community – Our doctors and staff participate in educational programs at local schools, hospitals, and civic organizations.
  • Veterinarians – Dr. Kurt Schulz, an international speaker on small animal orthopedics, provides continuing education certificate programs for doctors throughout New England.
