H. James Atherton, MS, DVM
Dr. Atherton graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science and a Master of Science Degree in Pathobiology. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island. Dr. Atherton started practicing at the Animal Medical of New England after completing his internship in small animal medicine and having extensive experience in emergency and critical care.
Dr. Atherton is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.
